Its edge-grinding process is also inconsistent, often leaving rough finishes, and glue application becomes a nightmare for mass production. In fact, the tempered glass screen protectors on your phone? They're actually made of acrylic too. We ran countless tests before landing on this material—but the color you see is specially custom-blended to match the film's iconic hue and thickness as closely as possible.
