The Eye of Agamotto is crafted using metal casting techniques, paired with a hand-braided leather cord. Total length: 65CM.
The Eye weighs approximately 300+ grams – about the weight of a large pear. It's quite heavy, so it's not ideally suited for everyday wearing – it's primarily designed as a display piece.
The finish uses an antique bronze patina treatment to capture the ancient mystical artifact feel as faithfully as possible.
We've designed a hidden built-in LED chipset. Why do you need to open the back cover to turn it on? To avoid leaving any visible switch on the exterior of the artifact, which would compromise its authentic appearance and quality.
The LED chip automatically turns off after 15 minutes – energy-saving mode.
The base features an ambient light that is rechargeable via a standard USB cable.
The Eye itself uses 2 CR927 button cell batteries (easily and cheaply available on major online marketplaces when replacement is needed). The charging port is discreetly hidden on the underside of the base.
The Eye can be opened and closed from the front, or you can open the back cover and operate it from behind.
If you don't turn on the LED, you can shine a flashlight on it to activate the glow-in-the-dark effect – it closely resembles the movie prop, with the Time Gem showing a starry, speckled glow. But we all know you want that bright LED glow!
The Eye stand is also made of metal, split into 5 individual parts that are assembled together to recreate all the screen-accurate surface patterns. The design utilizes the hollow bottom section and the central cylindrical structure. Even though it's an accessory, the craftsmanship required is no less demanding than the Eye itself.
We've also designed an ambient light base with a built-in rechargeable battery – charges via a standard USB cable. The leather cord is hand-braided, and even a single cord takes a long time to complete – all to faithfully recreate the rich texture of the movie version.
